Who doesn't remember Samsung Galaxy S? You know that impressive smartphone with a super AMOLED display ressembling pretty much like the iPhone? Well, it seems it has received approval from FCC to go out on AT&T 3G bands.
After making its appearance at CTIA this year, rumors started to spread. A date for launching was announced for June and AT&T as the carrier, which is going to happen. Big opportumity for them, knowing the fact they are currently limited to the Motorola Backflip.
For some of you who don't recall the specs, we will make a recap. The new Samsung device features a 4-inch super AMOLED display, Android 2.1 OS, 1 GHz processor, 5 MP cam, microSD expansion, swype keyboard, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and the fastest graphics processing unit: Hummingbird GPU.
One of the most powerful Android handsets, Samsung Galaxy S might have the launch date same time with HTC Evo. Oh, and we shouldn't forget about the newest iPhone from Apple. For sure it will be a hot summer!
