Samsung Galaxy Beam hits the market in July

Maybe Motorola Droid X succeeded in catching everyone's attention and making such a big fuss, but we couldn't skip the world's first Android projector phone. The Samsung Galaxy Beam (codename Halo) is set to be launched next month in Singapore.

When you say projector phones and with Android OS included also, it should mean something big in the technology world, but there hasn't been the case. Since it was announced at MWC back in February, we heard few things about the Samsung Beam and projector phones, generally.

But maybe Samsung will have success with this one. Featuring a 3.7-inch super AMOLED display, the Galaxy Beam is running Android 2.1, the built-in DLP pico projector, an 8 MP autofocus camera with flash (front-facing VGA) and HD video recording, support for 7.2Mbps HSPA data, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11n WiFi plus a-GPS and FM Radio.

This handset is headed for Singapore market this July, without any specific date. Neither the price release was mentioned, but don't expect to have an appealing offer, so,if you want to grab the phone, you might wanna start saving.
