Samsung Fascinate Posted on: June 28, 2010 [Source]
Just as we expected, another Samsung Galaxy S joines the family of Android phones. It was Verizon's turn to announce its very own phone and here we have the Samsung Fascinate. Three of the big four U.S. carriers have a Samsung Galaxy S version ready to go out. AT&T has the Captivate, T-Mobile picked the Vibrant and now Verizon came with the Fascinate.
As no surprise, the Fascinate features the same specs as the Galaxy S and keeps the original design. It will run Android 2.1 and Samsung's TouchWiz UI, the usual 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, a 5 MP camera with 720p video recording plus the 1GHz Hummingbird processor. There was no mention about a front-facing camera for the Verizon's version.
Neither a launch date nor a pricing information were available until now, but we expect to find out more tomorrow at Samsung media event. And to complete the big family of Galaxy S phones versions, Sprint got its own version of Galaxy S phone, the Epic 4G, the same one rumored few days ago as the Galaxy S Pro. Stay tuned to find out more infos.
