Well, look at this Android phone. Did the image captivates you? If yes, we tell you this is the AT&T's version of the Samsung Galaxy S and it is called the Captivate. Samsung and AT&T made an official statement in a press release about this new device using a re-branded design of the Galaxy S and having the same specs we know.
That means the Captivate will run Android 2.1, a 4-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, 5 MP camera with 720p recording, a GHz Hummingbird processor, the 3.5mm headphone jack and 16GB of internal storage with room for another 16GB (microSD) of memory. It will also come with 802.11n WiFi and a bunch of apps like Swype and AT&T Navigator.
AT&T doen't give details about the release date, saying only it is scheduled to arrive "in the coming months". Considering the fact that Samsung is holding a big event June 29th, maybe we will find there full details about release and pricing. So, all AT&T's customers out there, stay tuned to receive more infos about this new Android phone.
