Samsung Captivate

Well, look at this Android phone. Did the image captivates you? If yes, we tell you this is the AT&T's version of the Samsung Galaxy S and it is called the Captivate. Samsung and AT&T made an official statement in a press release about this new device using a re-branded design of the Galaxy S and having the same specs we know.

That means the Captivate will run Android 2.1, a 4-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, 5 MP camera with 720p recording, a GHz Hummingbird processor, the 3.5mm headphone jack and 16GB of internal storage with room for another 16GB (microSD) of memory. It will also come with 802.11n WiFi and a bunch of apps like Swype and AT&T Navigator.

AT&T doen't give details about the release date, saying only it is scheduled to arrive "in the coming months". Considering the fact that Samsung is holding a big event June 29th, maybe we will find there full details about release and pricing. So, all AT&T's customers out there, stay tuned to receive more infos about this new Android phone.

Samsung revealed a new Android phone called Galaxy Apollo. This new device resembles model M100S we saw back in February and appears on Samsung's UK page for smartphones, listed as "coming soon" along with Wave and Galaxy S.

Samsung Galaxy S launched in Europe

According to the press release, Samsung Galaxy S has been launched across Europe for now, but it will hit the rest of the world, including the US, later this year. The first Android phone featuring super AMOLED display is officially out, so you can sign in to your favourite carrier and take this impressive phone home.

Samsung Galaxy S arrives in Asia and Europe this June

Samsung announced its first Android phone featuring a super AMOLED display, the Galaxy S, to launch this June in Asia, most likely early next week. The price for this impressive handset is set for S$1,098 (around $775) free contract. You might find it quite expensive comparing to other devices, but how many Android smartphones you get with super AMOLED display?

Samsung Galaxy S and Wave coming soon to Vodafone UK

Two days ago Orange and T-Mobile made a strong coalition called Everything Everywhere, a "super network" located in UK. Today Vodafone announces on their website the newest devices available soon, where we found Samsung's two super AMOLED smartphones: Galaxy S and Wave. We don't know if Vodafone became frightened of the competition, but it's certain they are expanding its smartphone lineup.

Samsung M910 passes the FCC
