Xperia X10 release date

We all wondered when will the Xperia X10 be released on the market, the most accurate date everyone agreed on was January-February 2010. That's pretty vague for our taste, that's why this small snippet of text foud on Xperia's page on play.com made our day: "Due for release on 18/01/2010".
First of all allow us to say play.com is a large UK electronics retailer, so we can assume they are well informed about their producs, that's why this release date is most likely the right one.
So Xperia X10 release date is Jan 18, 2010.
PS: Don't be frightened by the £529.99 price tag. It is an average price for a high end unlocked smartphone in Europe, so expect Xperia X10 price on contract to be similar to the DROID, iPhone or other smartphone in the US.
