Motorola Droid 2 picture

Say hello to Motorola Droid 2, the successor of the first Motorola Droid. After we have been teased with pieces of the device, we now get a full and clear view of the Droid 2. It looks almost identical to the original Droid, excepting the keyboard which has been upgraded (after many complaints about that one for the first Droid), more rounded edges and maybe a little bit thinner.
So, externally, it's almost like the Droid 1, with few differences. As for the specs, the Droid 2 comes equipped with:
- Android 2.1. (with a possible 2.2 update)
- 3.7 inch display
- 5 MP camera
- 8GB internal memory
- 8GB SD card preinstalled
- no HDMI port and front facing camera
- new version of Motoblur
- updated keyboard
It is definitely an improved version of the first Droid. Regarding the release date, nothing has been confirmed yet. There is a rumor that it will be launched in Q3, at the same time with the Droid X. We'll keep you informed with more details about these two Android phones from Motorola.
