HTC Evo passes through the FCC
Posted on: May 10, 2010 / Category: HTC Android Phones
It was HTC Evo's turn to receive the blessing from FCC. The folks from Engadget surprised the filing for HTC model PC36100 running Wimax on Sprint's or Clearwire's 2500MHz band plus the CDMA bands with EV-DO. In non-FCC language, this model is the HTC Evo.
No photos or other pics to see, but the most important step was made. We're gonna see it soon. As you probably know, the Evo will be available on Sprint next month (as it was rumored). No certain pricing yet, but for sure we'll find out more infos.
We have the New York launch party for HTC Evo coming in two days, so maybe they will give us a date to release and a price too. We have to be patient and wait to see what's going on.
