Galaxy Spica adds Android 2.1 in Q2
Posted on: February 8, 2010 [Source]

The initial version of Samsung Galaxy Spica was Android 1.5, an old one if we are comparing with today's standards for smartphones. Now it seems it's making a big step by upgrading to Android 2.1 in the second quarter of this year.

The news came from Telix.pl who stated that Samsung Poland confirmed the upgrade. The version will be available using Samsung Applications store via Kies software. Samsung Galaxy 2 seems to be Samsung's next smartphone who'll have Android 2.1 at its release.

We don't know yet if other users outside Poland will enjoy the update for the device.
